Sponsor A Dog or
Cat...
Are you in a position where you are unable to have
a dog or cat but still have a dog in mind that you want to help? We have started
a new program where you can sponsor that dog or cat. This is great for those of
you who are animal lovers but are unable to adopt or foster a pet or others who
just really want to help.
As most of you know, animals can get pretty
expensive. We work solely off donations and the kindness of our fosters
and volunteers. The average health care costs for each animal is about $350 a
year. All of the animals in our program are in foster homes just waiting for
adoption. Because we want our animals to go to the best possible home, many
of our dogs and cats stay with us anywhere from several weeks to several years.
If you would like to become a sponsor, here are
the benefits:
- A picture of "your" dog or cat
- Quarterly updates on their health condition
- Updates on events that we have, such as
adoption days
- Your name on our Website listed as the sponsor
for the dog or cat of your choice
- Knowing that you are helping in an animals life
- If the animal that you choose to sponsor is
adopted, you may choose another dog or cat to sponsor or choose not to sponsor at
all
C.A.P.S. is a non-profit organization and your
donation for this program is tax deductible. By signing up for this
program, you are not required to stay in the program, just let us know if you no
longer wish to participate and your sponsorship would end.
If you would like to sponsor a pet, please fill
out the Sponsor A Dog or Cat form and send a check for
$20 each month made out the
Carolina Animal Protection Society to
CAPS - Sponsor a Dog/Cat
You may also pay on-line through PayPal, just
specify that you are sponsoring an animal and which animal you would like to
sponsor. To pay through PayPal please visit our Donation
